The plane ride was uneventful. No delays, no weather issues, just smooth sailing. Got in and met up with Evan to have dinner at a nice Italian place in Syracuse. Since we didn't feel like driving 3 and a half hours to get back to Ottawa from Syracuse, We ended up staying in Watertown overnight. I had forgotten to give Kat and my Dad a call when I got in last night, so I ended up calling Kat this morning and stopping in through town to see my Dad. Dad's beard has reached Saddam-found-in-spider-hole levels of bushiness, and it looks fucking strange. He showed off his accomplishments in Fallout 3 and Mom and I moved on.

I'm in Canada now with Mom and Jean-Jacques. Their place looks a lot different now that Mom is a permanent resident and moved her stuff from NY up here. I got one of Tony Bourdain's books to keep me interested on the plane, and Mom informs me that she has another of his books that I will likely read while I'm here.

I'll likely spend most of the week here in Canada before going over to NY either on Thursday or Friday. I know Jess and Dad want to watch a bunch of movies, and I'll have a chance to see Chris Dave and Matt again. I'll be back in KC area on the 21st, but I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to update more while I'm here.

Oh man, I just watched the first episode of Kamen Rider Decade. Good times were had. Even more excited for the preview! Yuuto AND the Hoppers. Its like an episode filled with my favorite riders. If Gatack was there as well, I would probably die of awesome overload.

Looks like the King of Fighters Orochi Collection came out this week. Contains KoF 94-98. Only 20 bucks also, that's worth it alone for KoF 98. Looks like I'll be finding my way to a gamestop this weekend.
